Stop at the St. Julien hotel on Walnut St. in Boulder. They feature live blues bands on Fri. & Sat. in the lobby. Last night was George Nelson. Also, if you're into blues keep your eyes open for the Delta Sonics who play around Denver every weekend. And, in Cherry Creek, The Q World BBQ features blues bands Wed., Fri. & Sat. No cover at either.

BTW: If you don't tune into KUVO 89.3 on Saturday evenings you are crazy. The blues starts around 6:00 p.m. and ends with Easy Bill's R&B Jukebox at 9:00 p.m. The blues is cookin' on Saturdays which makes staying home with the radio, friends and a bottle of wine the right jiving time.
