What: The Denver Teacher Residency (DTR) is an innovative, hands-on teacher preparation program designed to cultivate and support exceptional teachers in high-needs subject areas and schools within Denver Public Schools (DPS).
In exchange for a five-year commitment to DPS (year one being the residency year), DTR offers a teaching certificate, a year-long residency experience, and full tuition reimbursement for the cost of tuition for the Master’s degree from DU.
Where: Garden Room of the Chambers Center for the Advancement of Women located at 1901 E. Asbury Ave
When: Saturday, August 1st from 12pm – 1pm
Why: Learn more about becoming an agent of change as a teacher and contributing to the education of Denver’s youth.
