Thanks Bee. My wife and I started metroafrican.com because when we moved here from NY it was hard to find what was going on in African communities (she's Kenyan). So now part of what we do is maintain a calendar of African events as well as profiling African entrepreneurs and others doing positive things in the community. Hopefully we can meet before too long!

That's really good to hear. I'm blessed to have him here in Colorado with us and still so active. He does remember everything - names, dates, and addresses from when he was a little boy. I keep saying I'm going to turn on the video camera and just let him talk. Too much wisdom to let go undocumented.

I meant to tell him don't talk about his wonderful daughter... I know how he is with that. He's just my real first love. His name is Cornelius but my mother called him Neil the moment he met her and its been that way ever since. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING HIM BEE.

You didn't see the wire story? ... I finished second in the "pro" competition (picked up a nice check for being No. 2, but I wish I'd been better to finish first) ... Oh well, they weren't expecting me to be in it, so to get second was pretty good ... No, I haven't seen the latest Spectrum - haven't been home much this month ... I'll pick one up tomorrow while I'm downtown - thanks for letting me know about CABJ SIE ... I'll be in Vegas the night of the awards dinner, but I doubt I win anything!
